Fall Astronomy Night - II With Dr. Ron

Look up, neighbors! RippleMatters' astronomy night is back for round two — and the timing couldn't be better. Astronomy club advisor Dr. Ron will guide you across the night sky, with our teen volunteers staffing the telescopes and answering questions. Whether it's your first time at an eyepiece or your fiftieth, you'll leave seeing the sky differently.

The highlights:

• Saturn, at its showiest — just two weeks after its best night of the year, the ringed giant is still dazzling. Spot its rings and giant moon Titan through our telescope at up to 150× magnification.

• A stunning crescent-to-quarter Moon — with shadows racing across craters and mountains along the day-night line, this is the Moon at its most dramatic.

• Double stars and deep-sky gems — split sparkling star pairs and hunt for distant wonders, skies permitting.

Date: 10/17/26 if weather permits, otherwise it will be postponed till we get a clear sky. Final confirmation will be sent to all the registered participants based on forecast one day before the event.
