Fall Astronomy Night With Dr. Ron

Earth is not the only place in the universe. Learn about what lives in the skies! The moon is the closest celestial object to earth and humans walked on it 50 years ago. Beyond the moon we take a big jump to planet Saturn which is 4000 times more distant than our moon. Huygens landed on its moon, Titan, on January 14, 2005. Beyond this we take another huge jump to arrive at a few double stars that are hundreds of light years away. We will never be able to travel this far, but we can get close by using a 150x magnification telescope!

Date: 9/18/26 if weather permits, otherwise it will be postponed till we get a clear sky. Final confirmation will be sent to all the registered participants based on forecast one day before the event.
